Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a talented and creative IT Capabilities and Strategy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business relationship managers and product owners to develop deep subject matter expertise in our strategic technology platforms. Your primary goal will be to maximize the value of our IT investments by identifying and leveraging available capabilities.
As an IT Capabilities and Strategy Analyst, you will bridge the gap between current organizational pain points or missing functionalities and the solutions provided by our technology platforms. You will achieve this through value stream mapping, storytelling, and process documentation, ensuring that the content is digestible for all levels of the organization.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with business relationship managers and product owners to understand and document business needs and pain points.
- Develop a deep understanding of the capabilities within our strategic technology platforms.
- Identify opportunities to maximize the value of IT investments by aligning available capabilities with business needs.
- Create and maintain value stream maps to visualize and optimize processes.
- Use storytelling techniques to communicate complex technical concepts in an engaging and understandable manner.
- Document processes and create clear, concise content for various stakeholders within the organization.
- Develop and implement storytelling strategies to enhance audience engagement across various platforms.
- A focus on creating and deploying stories about the usage of artificial intelligence.
- Analyze data to identify key trends and insights that can be translated into compelling narratives.
- Create and deliver presentations, reports, and other content that effectively communicates complex information in an engaging and accessible manner.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working with senior leadership teams
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in IT strategy, business analysis, or a related field.
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in value stream mapping and process documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
