Eaton’s Filtration Division is currently seeking a Liquid Filtration Application Specialist to join our Sales Team. This role reports directly to the North America Sales Manager and is responsible for supporting the North America region. This role is remote, and candidate can be based anywhere within the United States. This role requires candidate to travel 50% of the time, primarily to different site locations.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The primary function of the Liquid Filtration Application Specialist is to serve as a technical expert and competent partner for the Sales Team and our customers across North America. This role will focus on two industries—Food & Beverage and Fine Chemical & Pharmaceuticals—to provide focused support and consultation regarding our filter media products. To connect customers with our top-of-the-line filter solutions, the Liquid Filtration Application Specialist is expected to successfully leverage a value selling strategy in their daily work.

In This Function You Will
- Consult and assist customers in product application of Life Science filter media.
- Conduct product-related trainings for customers, partners, and employees.
- Support Sales Managers at customer visits.
- Support activities such as workshops and trade fairs.
- Drive Life Science Filter media growth in North America by sharing and promoting specific product and sales strategies tested in other sectors or regions.
- Manage direct relationship with important customers to generate new business opportunities behind the scenes.
- Coordinate, advise on, and implement strategies for managing specific customers.
- Collect, analyze, and manage market intelligence about competitive products, customer needs on plans, and specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of filtration technology to represent a trusted point of reference for customers.
- Demonstrate an awareness of customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Consult end customers about processes, equipment, chemicals, and regeneration procedures.
- Execute filtration tests and analysis to supports R&D Projects.
- Analyze the potential Life Science and Liquid Filtration market to discover new applications and business opportunities.
- Develop and prepare recommendations for specific filtration applications.
- Collaborate globally with Technical Service Specialists and the Application Team in the EMEA region.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in B2B technical sales within the liquid filtration industry OR three (3) years' in an engineering role within liquid filtration industry
- Technical knowledge of filtration or related processes
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship, now and in the future
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Residence within the United States
- Professional travel: 50%
- Master’s or MBA degree from an accredited university
- Education or Certification(s) related to Enology, Brewing, Scotch/Bourbon/Whiskey, and/or Distilled Spirits
- Five or more years of experience in B2B technical sales OR engineering in liquid filtration industry
- Experience managing representatives and distributors.
- Public speaking experience
