Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Machinist.
The hours of this role are 7:00am to 3:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-35.00 per hour.

As a Machinist you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced machining equipment to produce high-quality aerospace parts and components. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that all machining tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in aerospace machining operations, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Do
As a Machinist you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced machining equipment to produce high-quality aerospace parts and components. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that all machining tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in aerospace machining operations, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, CNC machines, brand saw, and drill press.
- Inspect finished aerospace parts to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery.
- Follow written work instructions, able to understand assembly blueprints, tooling blueprints and build procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues with processes that can lead to continue improvements.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and reduce waste.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior machinists and other team members.
- Ability to manufacture tools, fixtures and parts from a blueprint.
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma from a technical high school or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
