Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift in Highland, IL. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 pm to 7:00am. The rate for this position is $26.85 with a $0.50 shift differential. per hour plus an additional $.50/hour shift differential. The maintenance technician is responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, plant, and associated systems.

What You’ll Do
The maintenance technician is responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, plant, and associated systems.
- Install equipment/machinery.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
- Operate a variety of lifts etc.
- Maintain and follow all safety requirements.
- Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of industrial maintenance experience.
- Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without ongoing company sponsorship
- Experience in metal fabrication.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment
- Ability to modify or program PLC’s and HMI’s a plus
