Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Services Manager.


This role is located at our Nacogdoches, TX site. Relocation assistance will be provided.


The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing Services Manager for its Electrical Systems and Services group in the Power Delivery and Regulation Division. This position is based at the Nacogdoches, Texas facility.


The Manufacturing Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of the Controls Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities Engineering teams. This role is essential for driving equipment reliability, advancing Industry 4.0 initiatives, and ensuring robust manufacturing processes to support operational excellence. Key responsibilities include leading tactical activities, mentoring engineers, managing capital projects, and fostering continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, and productivity across the plant.


In this role you will:


  • Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing services departments including the controls engineering, maintenance, and facilities departments to ensure that plant equipment and maintenance systems function in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide functional leadership and technical guidance to manufacturing engineers, fostering standardization, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies to digitize operations, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support Eaton’s sustainability goals.
  • Manage and implement automation projects and advanced technologies to improve safety, ergonomics, and productivity while reducing environmental impact.
  • Manage capital projects, including procuring and commissioning new equipment, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for personnel, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve the zero-safety-incidents goal by identifying and mitigating risks in collaboration with production and EHS teams.
  • Improve site asset productivity and reliability with a focus on reducing equipment downtime through analysis to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), including preventative and predictive maintenance.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing
  • Three (3) years of experience as a manager of people
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Relocation Assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Professional Engineering Certification (PE, CQE, CQM, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of experience managing people
  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment upkeep within a production setting
