Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Painter - 2nd Shift (Transformers) to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!
The hourly rate for this position is $24.50 per hour $2.50 per hour shift premium.
The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory a times.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.

What you’ll do:
In this function, you will:
- Be responsible for the proper preparation of all surfaces to be sprayed; this includes bare metal areas and the proper sanding, feather edging of previously painted surfaces.
- Check the Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness.
- Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.
- Change filters and maintain cleanliness of spray booth associates floor areas on a scheduled basis.
- Use crane to move units into spray boot and use crane to store repainted units in staging area for inspection.
- Cross train and perform duties in other work areas of the team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of six (6) months previous spray-painting experience.
- Minimum of six (6) months previous manufacturing experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation is offered for this position. Candidate must currently reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered for this role. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous working knowledge of industrial airless and/or air pressure painting.
Skills:
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
