Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Project Engineer.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you’ll do :
The purpose of this position is to provide design engineering services instrumental to the completion of major projects. This position is to provide engineering support to teams of designers / discipline specific engineers, construction managers and project managers for the development and execution of detailed engineering packages. The Design Engineer (DE) is responsible for supporting design deliverables to maintain project schedule, design budget, design accuracy, and submittal completeness working in concert with designers and the Sr. Design Engineer. The DE is charged with providing a quality product while driving efficiencies. The DE shall work under the direction and support of a Sr. level Design Engineer. Other tasks that the SDE will take part in include scope development, estimating, and subcontractor bid leveling.
Responsibilities include :
Assist a Senior Engineer in creating and refining various engineering documents
Develop equipment specifications and power system studies
Create single-line, three-line, general arrangement, and elevation drawings
Prepare schematics, wiring, and interconnection diagrams
Design conduit / cable, lighting, and lightning protection plans
Draft control power drawings and detailed grounding plans
Generate grading, foundation layouts, and foundation plans
Develop equipment testing procedures and commissioning plans
Provide support during commissioning and prepare as-built drawings
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications :
BS or AS in electrical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Up to 3 years of experience.

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications :
Generator Protection and Control Experience
Experience with AutoCAD and / or MicroStation
Substation Design Experience
Working knowledge of NERC / FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA
PMP Certified
