Senior Manager, IT Finance

Eaton’s Corporate Finance team is hiring a Senior Finance Manager- IT in Cleveland, OH. This position requires 10% travel and reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Eaton’s finance organization continues to increase our capabilities and provide a best-in-class operation by implementing advanced processes, technologies, and talent development initiatives.

The Senior Finance Manager - IT will serve as a business partner between finance and Global IT function. This position will be responsible for partnering with all levels of the organization to provide strategic, analytical, and tactical support to the IT Function. This position reports to the Director of IT Finance.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with senior leadership to execute the FP&A strategy and vision, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and financial goals.
• Build strong relationships across functions and businesses to be able to influence and drive change in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment.
• Provide insightful and actionable reporting, analysis and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders, based on data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and business acumen.
• Drive increased centralization and standardization across global IT.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics and identify trends, business opportunities and risks, and areas for improvement.
• Partner with functional excellence to drive process standardization, including development and implementation of process improvements and digitalization efforts.
• Develop tools and reports to help analyze actuals, forecast, and profit plan. Identify potential areas of risk and opportunities to senior management to drive business results and goals.
• Manage the day-to-day activities; partnering with the IT function to understand budgets and ensure consistent application of accounting and forecasting policies and procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH to be considered.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating financial models to identify opportunities and risks, and leading and driving budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Prior experience working with financial software and tools to report data, plan outcomes and drive insights and decisions.
• Experience working in finance leadership roles for a multinational, dynamic industry leader.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to drive successful outcomes with a focus on strategic planning, analysis, and recommendations.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
