Job Overview :
Our high school is seeking individuals to join our team as High School Athletic Workers. This versatile role encompasses various responsibilities during home athletic contests, including Ticket Taker, Scoreboard Operator, Shot Clock Operator, Game Manager, and Announcer. The ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong sense of teamwork to contribute to the success of our athletic events. Please note that this position is on a substitute or as-needed basis.
Responsibilities :
- Ticket Taker
Greet and assist spectators at entrance gates.
Operate the game scoreboard in accordance with the sport's regulations.
Manage the shot clock timing during applicable sports events.
Oversee the overall organization and logistics of home athletic contests.
Provide lively and informative announcements before, during, and after games.
Qualifications :
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Employment contingent upon successful clearance of a Washington State Patrol, and Sexual Misconduct background check.
