POSITION SCOPEThe City of Eau Claire is accepting applications for volunteer youth baseball coaches, youth soccer coaches and youth flag football coaches. Must work well with children, and be a mature adult with some knowledge and experience with the sport volunteering for. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the online application. Applicants assist in providing an afternoon specialized education program for school aged youth ages 6-21 with disabilities and an evening social club for adults. The daytime youth program meets Monday-Thursday afternoons, and the adult evening program meets Wednesdays. 1-2 years of experience with disabled children and/or adults; leadership experience helpful. Leaders must possess the ability to lead structured activities, including art projects, field trips, fishing excursions, and other similar events. Additionally, they should be proficient at managing conflicts and effectively calming participants when necessary. Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED is recommended.
