What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Park Attendant position at Eau Claire County?
Maintains good public relations with campers and the general public
Supervises clubhouse and shelter reservations and activities to assist the public and ensure that facilities are used in a safe and appropriate manner
Collects fees for overnight camping and shelter reservations
Oversees campers and park visitors and enforces all parks and forest ordinances
Performs janitorial functions in buildings
Performs maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment
Performs other duties in park and forest areas as required or assigned
High school diploma or equivalent.
Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of criminal background check
Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Operator's license and acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation is required for reporting to the Parks and Forest headquarters at either Lake Eau Claire Park, Coon Fork Lake Park, Big Falls Park, or Lake Altoona County Park
Experience supervising the operations of a public or private park or recreational facility with direct public contact
Experience in public relations, customer service, or retail sales experience involved in handling customer complaints
Salary : $15 - $16
