TEEN RESPITE PROVIDER NEEDED!!

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual for a respite care position to provide temporary relief and support for family caregivers. The ideal candidate will offer high-quality, attentive care to individuals with special needs or disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The role requires a patient and reliable person who can adapt to different care environments and build positive relationships.

** experience working with special needs preferred**

• knowledge of de-escalation techniques preferred

• willingness to accept parental feedback in regards to child

• willing to participate in INTERACTIVE activities - he loves MUSIC, videogames, baseketball, etc

• eager to learn

WAGE

$14.13/Hour

SCHEDULE

Up to 8 hours a week -

• Mondays & Thursdays 3:00PM - 6:30PM

JOB DUTIES

• Attentiveness to behaviors

• Spend time with teen doing things he likes to do (board games, outings)

• knowledge with redirection and deescaltion techniques

• Build confidence/independence

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Criminal/Caregiver background check

• Compassionate individual with care experience preferred

• Valid driver's license preferred
