The Position – Generator Service Technician: Experienced                    

We are seeking an experienced, professional Generator Service Technician with 7 to 10 years of experience. Ideal candidates are electricians at the master’s level or with comparative experience and a thorough background and understanding of generator service. Experience working on CAT or Cummins generators is a huge plus! Strongly considered candidates will have deep experience working in various residential and commercial environments. The ideal skills for this role include a strong understanding of the maintenance and repair of generators and of safety protocols, the ability to read technical manuals as well as troubleshooting skills. Those with vast experience along with the ability to provide comprehensive service on generators are ideal for this role. We invite you to apply today!

The day-to-day tasks of the Generator Service Technician typically include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance and repair generator systems and components (residential and commercial)
• Inspecting and troubleshooting generator systems and components
• Testing and adjusting generator systems and components
• Performing regular maintenance and upkeep of generator systems and components
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and other issues with generator systems and components
• Monitoring generator performances and reporting any issues

·      Experienced – 7 to 10 years working as an electrician or mechanic highly proficient and skilled servicing

Generators with a passion for the skill and how it positively impacts our customers

solving skills and a knowledge of electrical systems and components

·      Professionalism – Timeliness and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills along with a visible positive

Pay

·      Job Type: Full-time

·      Pay: Competitive Salary and comprehensive benefits package

·      Bonuses: Pay for performance bonuses paid quarterly (based on the profitability of the company); target annual

bonus is $5,000.00 per year

Vacation and Holiday

·      7 days Paid Time Off (PTO) (includes both vacation and sick time); employees receive 12 days of PTO after 5 years

of service, PLUS.

·      9 Major Holidays paid (New Years, Memorial Day, July 4^th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve,

Christmas Day, New Years Eve)

Continuing Education

Minimum Requirements

The Generator Service Electrician shall meet the following minimum requirements:

·      Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.

·      7-10 years of experience working with generators as a service technician or with viable skills and

troubleshooting capabilities or comparable experience

·      Generator service and preventative maintenance experience

·      OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).

·      Other duties as assigned.
