What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIS Configuration Engineer (Fully Remote) position at EBA Engineering?
EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking talented and driven GIS Configuration Engineers to support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of an Enterprise GIS system for a Department of Transportation client. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work on innovative geospatial solutions with a direct impact on public infrastructure and transportation networks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a GIS Configuration Engineers, you will configure and implement Esri's Enterprise for ArcGIS platform, including:
- Publishing web services.
- Developing and configuring interactive web applications.
- Supporting ArcGIS Roads and Highways Linear Referencing System (LRS).
- Utilize ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro for data preparation and visualization.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build GIS-based solutions for data extraction, transformation, visualization, and reporting.
- Support the creation of dashboards, web mapping apps, and workflows that meet DOT data management and federal reporting requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA degree from accredited university with 9 credit hours in GIS courses
- 7 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with the Esri Suite of Desktop and Enterprise software
- Demonstrated ability to configure and develop web apps and services using ArcGIS Enterprise
- Experience implementing Esri Roads and Highways for LRS workflows
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiarity with Safe Software's FME (Form and Flow) for ETL automation and workflow development
- Experience with VertiGIS Studio to enhance Esri Enterprise capabilities
- Knowledge of HPMS and SLD Manager software for transportation data management
- Proficiency in scripting and development languages such as .NET, HTML, JavaScript, Python, or R
