We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our team and contribute to a transportation asset management and operations contract. This position offers a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to grow as professionals while working on a dynamic and important project.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing and communication skills, along with a general understanding of asset management for various asset classes, including facilities, fleet, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), signals, and tunnels. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting a high-impact infrastructure project.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Junior Engineer, you will be involved in the following key responsibilities:
- Perform gap assessments of asset management for different asset classes, including facilities, fleet, ITS, signals, and tunnels.
- Prepare technical documentation, including reports and presentations.
- Support senior engineers in analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for asset management improvements.
- Contribute to various engineering tasks to ensure the successful execution of the asset management project.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess: • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. • 0-2 years of professional experience in asset management or engineering roles. • Strong technical writing and communication skills. • General knowledge of asset management and asset classes, particularly related to infrastructure. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with technical software tools. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
