EBA Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer to join our Water Systems Engineering Department. Lead the design of water and sewer pipelines and pumping stations, prepare and review plans and estimates, and navigate environmental permits to create impactful, sustainable solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and managing water and sewer pipeline and pumping station design projects. You will be responsible for:

• Design and rehabilitation of water and sewer pipelines and pumping stations and related projects.
• Preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Applying for and obtaining environmental permits.
• Provide construction administration services.
• Identifying and resolving design-related challenges, drafting, and reviewing project-related correspondence, and coordinating with external agencies, including the Maryland State Highway Administration, Maryland Department of the Environment, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and city/county agencies.
• Participating in public meetings and hearings.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2 years of experience in water/sewer pipeline and pumping station design review
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with CAD usage
• Knowledge of local codes and water and sewer design requirements
• Strong project management, written, and verbal communication skills.

Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
