About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in Draper, UT
What you will accomplish: Drive technological advancements and craft the future of customer interactions at eBay. Build and implement a suite of tools that not only solve immediate customer issues but also anticipate future needs through predictive assistance. Create, optimize and innovative conversational IVRs and bots, improving user experience and elevating customer interactions. Design and develop reusable components, setting a standard for scalability and adaptability in IVR and chatbot technologies. Work closely with product management, user experience, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions that align with eBay's strategic goals. Orchestrate the integration of sophisticated telephony and CTI systems, contributing to a flawless and efficient communication infrastructure. Lead and champion a culture of continuous improvement by implementing agile methodologies and prototyping, leading to accelerated learning and growth within the team. Communicate technical concepts, ensuring alignment and understanding across diverse internal teams and stakeholders. Partial telecommuting may be permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

1. VoiceXML (3 years)
2. Conversational Bot development tool like Kore.ai (1 years)
3. Avaya Voice Portal, Genesys Voice Portal , Genesys Composer, Genesys Administrator (3 years)
4. Nuance development Framework (3 years)
5. Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud or AWS (1 years)
6. Java, J2EE , Spring framework (3 years)
7. Rest/SOAP Webservices (3 years)
8. GIT and Jenkins (3 years)
9. Grafana dashboards and Sherlock (3 years)
10. IBM RAD WebSphere and Tomcat (3 years)
11. Kubernetes (2 years)
12. Cyara automation (3 years)

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
