What You Will Accomplish
- Build highly available, scalable user facing applications and RESTful /GraphQL APIs
- Build web technologies and services (e.g. Java/NodeJS/C , etc.) along with browser technologies (Marko, React, Javascript, HTML, etc.)
- Mentor junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards
- Own major projects and features from design phase to coding, testing, deployment and support
- Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes. Identify project technical risks and make recommendations to mitigate
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 7 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 10 years of experience with software design and development.
- Experience with Java, Scala, Oracle/NOSQL DBs
- Experience building web and RESTful and GraphQL applications.
- Strong applied experience. You've built, broken, and rebuilt software applications
- Experience working with frameworks such as Spring MVC
- Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms
