The Strategy lead will be the leader responsible for the design and execution of a long-term strategy for Goldin. This includes leaning in to lead existing strategic initiatives and working hands-on to identify and lead net new investment activities. What you will accomplish : Responsible for driving the development of a data-driven long-term vision and strategy for Goldin Analyzes / models projects and develops presentation materials for leadership approval of strategy with grounded justification Develops materials that effectively communicate insights and recommendations Ensures the objectives are aligned with the critical initiatives of the business by working with key partners in the business Owns, drives and manages a planning process for resourcing and delivery of long-term vision and strategy Plans and co-ordinates the roadmap and capabilities to achieve the long-term vision and strategy Manages the roadmap and stays on top of key dates as well as their movement Delivers process design for special projects as they arise Supports go-to-market and project management as needed Builds credibility with business partners to gain support for analysis and recommendations What you will bring : Passion for developing strategies for a two-sided online retailer Passion for the Hobby with a keen focus on monitoring and designing leading customer-first digital experiences Ability to build out cases for executive approval by working with internal stakeholders, and developing business case from research and financial evaluation Finance exposure and P&L management a plus Ability to analyze data and develop initiatives to create compelling and grounded strategic proposals Bring order to ambiguous situations, taking on challenges with high visibility, and bringing others on the journey Untangling sophisticated processes, crafting strategic roadmaps, and telling compelling stories Executive-level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tell a compelling story backed by data High degree of ownership, strong project management skills, and dedication to results Organized problem solver who balances attention to detail with efficiency Outstanding attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness Proven track record to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload Shifts from detailed analysis to big picture strategy comfortably Qualification Preferences : 10 years of experience in an online marketplace, digital platform, or related e-commerce business 5 years in a collectibles or trading cards related business preferred 5 years of experience in Management Consulting, M&A or strategic partnerships capacity preferred BA / BS required, MBA or similar graduate degree preferred Please see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay. eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
