What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Trainer position at Ebenezer Outreach Ministries - Pittsburgh?
Ebenezer Outreach Ministries (EOM) is looking for a qualified trainer to deliver an established Pharmacy Technician Curriculum. This curriculum is focused on job readiness training that will engage and inspire students to become job ready by the completion of the course.
The Pharmacy Technician Trainer (PTT) is a critical team member within EOM’s, Learning, Development and Performance Programs. The PTT reports directly to the EOM Director of Workforce Programs. The PTT will manage students through our Pharmacy Technician training program by coordinating activities with EOM’s internal stakeholders as well as our external partners. PTT’s build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging data to continually evaluate the learner experience and will also measure training effectiveness and student performance. Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual & live classroom training for select programs as needed
- Manages students through the training program to ensure completion within the expected timeline
- Monitor, assess and manage the engagement and overall execution progress to identify opportunities and provide action plans as necessary
- Monitor and conduct key assessments during the training process, reviews results with the team, and provides suggestions for enhancement of the training
- Assess Skill Development and escalates gaps to adapt training techniques and resources to the needs of the students
- Monitor training daily to identify and address opportunities that may impact the experience or execution of the program
- Monitors curriculum progress, partners with the team when needed for root cause analysis to ensure student graduation
- Establish regular communication touchpoints with teams to provide an update on trainee progress
- Leads bi-weekly Meetings with teams to provide training updates and Escalates all training concerns weekly to EOM Director of Workforce Programs for follow-up.
Required Skills & Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 years’ experience in training delivery or relevant work experience
- Nationally Certified Technician (CPhT via PTCB or ExCPT) or commits to becoming nationally certified within 6 months of hire
- Licensed/Registered Technician within the state of PA
- Skilled in delivering virtual training materials as well as in-person
- Ability to approach work with empathy, sensitivity, and a strong commitment to helping others.
