This Assistant Director of Health Services, LPN or RN nursing position is responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the senior age residents are met while providing staff leadership duties for our beautiful Assisted Living/Memory Care building in Sarsota, Florida.
Nursing schedule includes;
- 80 hours in two weeks
- Day/Evening shift hours - Monday - Friday
- One weekend day per month for manager on duty
- Holidays as needed

- Maintains current assessment and documentation of residents’ health status
- Coordinates client health services
- Leads and supervises medication and treatment administration
- Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
- Support DHS to act as Nurse on call during scheduled times
Required:
- Associates in Nursing Degree
RN or LPN Licensure with the Florida Board of Nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows - AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider/BLS Instructor; American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED
Preferred:
3-5 years of proven experience in senior care
