- 30 hours every two weeks
- Day shift
- Weekend rotations as needed
As part of the Martin Luther Campus Senior Community, Meadow Woods Assisted Living is a residential setting by woodlands, wetlands, and the Minnesota River Bluffs. Our 113 unit assisted, independent and memory care buildings are located in East Bloomington, MN near public transportation. Our staff encourages participation in the many regularly scheduled activities and lifelong learning programs. - Provides Spiritual Health Services; direct spiritual care and consultation to residents, families and staff based on assessment of spiritual needs
- Plan/conduct/coordinate worship services, including special seasonal celebrations and memorial services
- Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Serves as a theological, ethical and education resource
- Maintain role as 'clergy in good standing' with religious adjudicating body and APC/NACC communities
- Serves as preceptor and mentor to CPE students Spiritual Care Volunteers
One to three years previous experience
Must be comfortable with religious services, seasonal celebrations and memorial services of all faiths/religions
Post baccalaureate degree or post baccalaureate degree in process in theology or religious studies or training as required by the chaplain’s faith group
Graduate degree in theology from a CHEA accredited theological seminary or religious studies program preferred
One or more units of ACPE accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
Endorsement by faith group preferred
