The Content Writer is responsible for creating compelling and brand-aligned content that supports Ebenezer’s marketing and internal and external communication initiatives. Reporting to the Corporate Director of Marketing Communications, this role produces engaging copy for digital and print materials, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, brochures, and internal communications. The Content Writer ensures all content reflects the organization’s voice, aligns with marketing goals, and resonates with target audiences, including seniors, their families, team members, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging, and accurate copy for various marketing channels, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
- Develop content for brochures, flyers, newsletters, and other print materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaign messaging that aligns with organizational goals.
- Research and generate ideas for content that resonates with target audiences and supports marketing objectives.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and tone to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) by incorporating relevant keywords and best practices.
- Support internal communications by writing newsletters, memos, and other employee-focused content.
- Maintain and evolve Ebenezer’s brand voice across all content channels.
- Monitor content performance and make recommendations for improvement based on data and analytics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging content marketing strategies to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Graphi Design, or marketing related
- Three or more years experience
- Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phone, fax machines.
- MS Office, SharePoint, Project Management Tools
