What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook/Chef position at Ebenezer?
We are seeking a Cook who would be responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized receipes to meet established standards of high-quality care. Plates food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption. Location Lake City, MN at Lake City Care Center.
This food services aide position includes;
- 70 hours per two weeks
- Day shift
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)
- Food preparation
- Follow standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value
- Plates meals for residents/staff/visitors & volunteers in an attractive manor
- Handle and prepare food in a safe manner following policies and procedures of infection contril and safety
- Sanitize equipment and work area after each use
- Performs other duties as assigned and directed
Required:
- Serv Safe or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment
- 0-1 years of experience
- Must be 18 years old
Preferred
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
- 1-3 years of experience
