We are seeking a Culinary Director to join our Vernon Terrace Team in Edina, MN! This position is accountable for managing all dining service operations, guaranteeing that meals are meticulously prepared and presented in compliance with all relevant regulations and customer expectations.
Culinary Leadership schedule includes;
- Full-time; 80 hours per two-week pay period
- Occasional weekends and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description
- Plans and manages all aspects of dining service operations
- Follow Corporate menus
- Manages inventory and food/supplies budgets
- Assists with planning and developing menus for upcoming week
- Food Preperation
- Properly cook foods to specified temperatures
- Products meet temperature and quality standards
- Follow standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value
- Sanatize equipment and work area after each use
- Maintain a "clean as you go" attitude demonstrated by a clean work area
- Clean and sanatize equipment after each use per the cleaning schedule
- Use appropriate equipment and chemicals according to manufacturer's recommendations
- Promotes positive resident relations and satisfaction
- Ensures that dining area is clean and inviting
- Welcomes residents, initiates conversation and encourages socialization
- Solicits resident feedback and suggestions
Qualifications
Required:

- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) or must obtain within first 90-days of employment
- 1-3 years experience
- Performance management skills
- Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
Preferred:

- Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course and Certification (ServSafe, Always Food Safe)
- Certified Dietary Manager
