What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Ebenezer?
Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages starting from $15/hr. All wage determinations will be based on relevant experience.
We are looking for a Custodian to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Sarasota, FL.
This support schedule includes:
- Flexible hours (either 2pm-10pm nor 3pm-11pm)
- Every other weekend - Saturday and Sunday
- Holidays as needed

- Performs all floor care duties throughout the community
Also performs the following duties throughout the community as assigned and directed:
- Cleans designated areas in accordance with schedule.
- Assists housekeeping staff.
- Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
- Empties and removes trash and recycling.
- Assists with landscaping upkeep (weeding, trimming, removing debris, etc.)
- Assists Maintenance staff with light tasks such as changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned and directed
Required:
- None to 1 year experience
Preferred:
- High School Diploma/GED
- One to 2 years experience
- Experience with power washers, carpet cleaners, & floor cleaners
Salary : $15
