What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Ebenezer?
We are looking for a Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for driving the bus/van for purposes of providing and addressing transportation needs of the Senior Living Cooperative Community, individual, and group transportation. This driver schedule includes;
- On Call/Casual
- Must work a minimum of 3 shifts per month

- Completes transportation routes and duties in a timely manner
- Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period
- Ensures compliance with all requirements pertaining to operation of special transportation vehicle
- Follows policies and procedures of Ebenezer and state and federal rules and regulations
- Is responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers
- Displays knowledge and understanding of participant and resident rights
- Coverage of reception desk as needed
Required:
- Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
- Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage
- 0-1 year of previous experience
- Annual Criminal background check and Driving record check
Preferred:
- High school Diploma/GED
- 1-3 years of previous experience
