The Licensed Practical Nurse PRN performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our beautiful and vibrant senior Assisted Living / Memory Care community in Naples, Florida.
This casual nursing position includes:
- Casual hours
- Help fill in for shifts ahead of time and for last minute needs

- Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
- Lifts and transfer residents as needed
- Initiates emergency treatment as needed
- Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
- Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
- Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
- May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans
Required:
- FL LPN licensure by start date
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred:
- Previous healthcare experience
- Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
