About This Position:
This is a flexible schedule nursing position, offering a range of shifts to accommodate your lifestyle and preferences. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, supporting the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring health status, and documenting progress.
- Lift and transfer residents as needed, while maintaining a safe and dignified environment.
- Initiate emergency treatment when necessary, utilizing critical thinking skills to ensure prompt and effective action.
- Collaborate with unlicensed staff to monitor work performance, provide guidance, and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Florida.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers certification.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to use computer systems, handheld devices, phones, and fax machines with ease.
