As a Registered Nurse with Ebenezer Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and health needs of residents are met. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate assessments and documentation of resident health status through progress notes
- Implementing new and updating current resident care plans
- Coordinating resident health services with internal and external providers, obtaining necessary orders
- Leading and supervising the timely and accurate administration of medications and treatments
- Providing support to the Director of Health Services
- Monitoring the work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
Required:
- Current MN RN license or by start date
BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently
enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be
obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent
practice
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred:
- Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
- Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
