Role Description:
The Eberhard Design Engineering team is seeking a co-op student for our facility in Strongsville, OH. This in-person co-op program is for the Summer & Fall semesters of 2025. This assignment is intended to provide additional opportunity to experience design engineering activities and responsibilities while also contributing to the business goals of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assignments may include process and product development for new products or improvement on current designs and/or stack-ups evaluations.
- Managing projects from start to finish. Projects may include 3D modeling (Autodesk Inventor), detailed drawing creation, stack-ups, FEA, engineering calculations, prototype creation, testing coordination, product implementation and all required company and ISO documentation.
- Working individually and collaborating as part of a team on production support, sales support, customer support and new product development assignments.
- Program guidance will be given under the Design Engineering Group.
Requirements:
- A Sophomore, Junior or Senior with good standing in an engineering-focused degree program.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to interact within a cross-functional team.
- Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work on and complete a project with moderate direction and guidance.
- Must have the ability to adjust to changing demands, priorities, and objectives.
- Candidate must possess the ability and eagerness to be hands-on and help move projects along.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- CAD (2D and 3D) experience along with strong computer skills.
