Role Description

The Eberhard Manufacturing Electrical Engineering team is seeking a full-time intern for our facility in Arlington Heights, IL. This internship is for the Summer of 2025 (May/June - August/September). This assignment is intended to provide additional opportunity to experience electrical engineering activities and responsibilities while also contributing to the business goals of the company.

Responsibilities

• Assignments may include process development for new products or electronic testing including uses of power supplies, DMM and Oscilloscopes.
• Learn manufacturing processes involved in project work may include PCB design, Schematic capture, SPICE, prototyping, firmware/software development and debugging/testing.
• Interaction with business processes may include schematic drawings.
• Program guidance will be given under the Engineering Group.
  
  

Requirements

• Sophomore or above standing in an engineering-focused degree program.
• Ability to work in a team environment and to interact within a cross-functional and multiple discipline team required.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work on and complete a project with moderate direction and guidance.
• Ability to adjust to changing demands, priorities, and objectives required.
• Ability and eagerness to be hands-on and must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Schematic capture experience required along with working knowledge of electrical testing equipment and strong computer skills.
