Key Responsibilities – Planning Manager (EBI LLC)
- Working time vs produced time.
Component Availability Management
- Plan container flows and manage the container supply chain
Production Planning
- Develop and update production schedules based on demand forecasts from IKEA, incoming orders etc.
- Ensure alignment of production plans with manufacturing capacity (shift availability, workforce, machinery).
- Monitor plan execution and adjust schedules in response to deviations or issues.
Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare performance, efficiency, and financial reports for management.
- Analyze variances between planned and actual results – propose corrective actions.
- Track and report key KPIs, such as:
- Working time vs produced time.
Component Availability Management
- Verify the availability of materials and components required for production plans.
- Notify the procurement department of shortages or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and supply teams to manage stock rotation.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with the logistics team to:
- Plan container flows and manage the container supply chain
- Communicate effectively with production, quality, procurement teams, and customers (including IKEA).
Long-Term Planning
- Develop long-term forecasts and plans based on customer-provided data (IKEA).
