Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this Staff Accountant position must be able to perform and/or support the following tasks:
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and other deliverables for client approval.
- Assist in the analysis (including reconciliations) and development of client solutions.
- Prepare client deliverables and assists in ensuring that deliverables are in compliance with the statement of work.
- Participate in the planning of engagements.
Qualifications, Education and Skills Requirements
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain at least a Public Trust security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.
- A minimum of three years' experience in performing financial management analysis and review functions.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience in preparing, editing and finalizing reports, documents and briefings.
- Knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials and Oracle database applications is strongly recommended.
- Possess high-level oral and written communications skills; effectively communicate with all levels of client management, contractor managers and client agency representatives; adept in generating and conducting briefings, presentations, etc.
- Excellent time management.
Additional Desires and Considerations
- Experience working on Federal teams.
- Military veteran hiring preference.
- Certifications including, CPA, CDFM, CGFM, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- Familiarity with the transit industry.
