The Insights specialism at Ebiquity sits within our Client Success Team. We find insights in data and make actionable recommendations that will add value to clients. The Opportunity & Impact
As an Associate Director Insights, you play an essential role helping client's create new solutions maximizing their media investment's effectiveness and efficiency.
Be a trusted media advisor who can clearly articulate Insights, Storytelling & Actionable next steps with a focus on integrated video channels for our clients. You'll get to go beyond the status quo and think about media investment differently. You'll be relied upon as an expert in our reporting and analysis platforms (plus standard market reporting tools) as well as our solution. methodologies. You'll get to lead client presentations & conversations with our Client Partners and manage a team of TV & Video Insight Senior Consultants and Consultants (training and career development).
Beyond the day-to-day roles and responsibilities, you'll partner with our Digital Insights Americas Team, directly partner with our Activation Team and be able to participate in product innovation sessions (with our Product Solutions Team).
This role will report directly into the TV & Video Insights Director (or TV & Video Americas Team Lead).
Qualifications
We welcome media professionals holding roles in Media Planning, Media Planning & Strategy, Integrated Video Investment, CTV Specialist, Marketing Sciences (Data Analytics) who have a passion for innovation across the media supply chain most notably when it comes to the intersection of Linear TV and CTV/Streaming TV.
Ebiquity's US headquarters are in New York. Ideal candidates for this role should have experience working within the following major media markets – New York, Chicago and/or Atlanta. All candidates are asked to comply to Eastern Standard Time working hours.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· Ensures assigned client projects are properly planned, resourced and delivered on time and to quality standards (professional output includes insight driven, consistent look and feel)
· Present to clients with confidence, become a trusted resource
· Collaborates with Client Partners for timely delivery and aligns to specific client priorities
· Expert in delivery mechanisms for reporting
· Expert in core product solutions & methodology to accurately discuss with clients during scheduled presentations
· Responsible to maintaining a set of key client deliverables
· Oversees the team's use of companywide project management delivery platforms (and in some cases manage for a set # of clients)
· Actively contributes to the enhancement & maintenance of team best practices
· Actively contributes to best practice and enhancements to team collaboration beyond the Insight Team
· Onboard new and junior team members
· Develop trusted relationships internally and externally
· Manage Snr Consultant and Consultant Career Progression
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Your experience will be:
· The ideal candidate will have 8 yrs years of professional work experience leading omni-channel strategy, integrated video strategy, insights and/or investment in Linear's Broadcast, Cable and Hispanic TV, Addressable TV and CTV (inclusive of the OTT, FEP, VOD like terminology)
· Possess & can exemplify trusted integrated video media fundamentals knowledge, video investment strategies and an interest in current trends
· Possess the combination of an analytical and story-telling mindset. You can easily review initial data sets, know when/how to dig deeper into the data to effectively create a story
· Experience analyzing & summarizing integrated video campaign reports, developing an action plan – reviewing make-goods, under/over delivery, the optimizations, why the optimizations are important and the estimated learnings from the campaign/optimizations (ensuring it aligns to the campaign objectives)
· Experience in planning the media strategy, planning and/or executing campaigns or the data and analysis for large-scale clients (>50M USD annually)
· Experience using and/or understanding Integrated TV tech & research platforms and tools like: Mediaocean, Kantar, AdIntel, MBox, Alternate Currency & Measurement Partners (ie VideoAmp, Comscore, iSpot, Nielsen), DSPs (ie The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo), the various R/F programs and other advanced Integrated Video tech solutions
· Experience with 3rd party ad verification partners
· Innovator who looks for the why behind the facts
· Has proven examples of creating campaign(s) embracing integrated video trends and/or new partner that solved a client challenge
· Confidently write client facing presentations as well delivering the presentation to clients (strong written & verbal presentation skills)
· Proven leadership in managing teammates with 0-7 yrs experience (guiding the day to day as well as career development)
· Seasoned in the use of Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc, along with a robust MS Office suite experience).
· Detail oriented, organized, solution oriented
· Desire to continuously learn & is curious
· Willingness to travel (less than 25%)
