Finance Analyst - Americas
This role will be based in Central Daylight Time U.S
The individual will be a valuable support to the Americas finance team. They will work closely with the Accounting Manager and gain a broad depth of knowledge across the whole finance function.
Key Responsibilities
· Timely and accurate posting of monthly journals, prepayments, accruals, revaluations, recharges in line with the internal reporting deadlines
· Timely reconciliation of credit cards, expenses, fixed assets, payroll and balance sheet accounts
· Intercompany reconciliations
· Preparation of monthly management accounts and other group reporting requirements, including monthly variance analysis versus budget/forecast, for allocated business divisions
· Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for allocated business divisions
· Back up support for banking payment runs, employee expense payments and billing
· Other ad hoc duties
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Related Field
· 3 years' experience in Finance
· Good communication skills; able to communicate effectively with senior finance and non-finance individuals
· Highly numeric with problem-solving skills
· Advanced level spreadsheet skills and PC literacy
· Driven individual with a desire to improve existing processes
· Ability to work accurately with attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines
· Preference for experience with Salesforce and/or FinancialForce Accounting
· Knowledge of IFRS
