What You Will Do
- Develop strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, customer service, and profitability, with a focus on inclusive decision-making and team input.
- Serve as a role model in maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure a harmonious integration of fleet lease operations within the auction, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and interdepartmental cooperation.
- Manage resources effectively, demonstrating prudent financial stewardship and a commitment to responsible budgeting and forecasting.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging innovation and embracing technological advancements.
- Address and resolve escalated customer issues with a balanced and empathetic approach, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager, offering transparent and honest assessments of performance, challenges, and strategic opportunities.
- Lead the fleet lease operations with an approach grounded in trust, ensuring all processes meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Cultivate a hopeful and positive outlook within the team, setting clear objectives and performance standards that encourage growth and development.
- Display humility in leadership, valuing the input and expertise of team members and fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration.
- Practice empathy by understanding and addressing the needs and challenges of both clients and team members, maintaining strong relationships and high-level negotiations.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in fleet management or a similar operational role, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with trust, hope, humility, and empathy.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and standard office applications.
- In-depth knowledge of the auto auction industry and fleet lease operations.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a motor vehicle (manual and automatic).
