Overview: As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will be a key player in establishing an organic culture of Continuous Improvement within our organization. Your role is to serve and enable teams through hands-on training, facilitation of Kaizen & other Workshops, and the development of a site tiered management structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on Lean Green Belt training sessions, focusing on practical applications and understanding of lean principles.
- Facilitate and lead continuous improvement events (Kaizen) with a collaborative approach, encouraging participation and input from team members.
- Conduct layered process audits to ensure sustainment of continuous improvement projects after completion.
- Assist in the implementation and sustainment of site tiered management structure including SQDC Gemba Boards, Value Stream Transformation Boards, and Site Strategy Deployment.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate with teams across departments, fostering cooperation and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred; however, relevant Continuous Improvement or Operations experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Lean or Six Sigma Certification a plus.
- Experience:
- 2 Years leading cross-functional teams in implementing lean principles, facilitating Kaizen events, and driving positive change within operational settings.
- Skills:
- Lean/Six Sigma methodologies: SMED, Kanban Systems, Value Stream Mapping, 5s, Poka-yoke, Pull-production, TPM, Kaizen, Standard Work, OEE, 3P, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (leads by example).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
