Job Title: Intern - Engineering Rotation Program
Summary: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our dynamic engineering team for the 2025-2026 Engineering Rotation Program. This 12-month program, running from May 2025 to May 2026, provides an excellent opportunity for students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world projects while gaining hands-on experience in their field of study. The intern will work alongside experienced engineering and manufacturing associates and contribute to a variety of tasks, projects, and initiatives across different engineering disciplines: Applications Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Research & Development.
Essential Job Functions: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:
- Assist engineers in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
- Analyze data and perform calculations to support project development.
- Conduct research on new technologies, tools, or engineering trends.
- Assist with creating technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Support the engineering team with quality control and process improvement tasks.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Attend team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Help ensure project deadlines and milestones are met.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Recommended Education and/or Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Industrial, etc.). at an accredited institution.
- Ability to dedicate a minimum of 8 hours per week or an average of 40 hours per month.
- Good understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Creo, Python) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
