EBON solar is a fast-growing solar energy company with a strong track record in international markets. We are now entering the U.S. market with innovative solar solutions designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. We're looking for a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Marketing & Sales Representative to lead market development from 0 to 1 in the United States.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the U.S. solar market.
- Identify and secure partnerships with distributors, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms), installers, and project developers.
- Lead end-to-end business development: prospecting, client engagement, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Build brand presence through both digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Collaborate closely with the global marketing, product, and operations teams to align messaging, product-market fit, and customer support.
- Analyze market dynamics, customer trends, competitor activities, and regulatory policies to adapt strategies in real time.
- Represent the company at trade shows, clean energy expos, and industry events.
- Establish sales processes and playbooks to scale the team and operations in the U.S.
- 5–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Proven experience building market presence or launching operations from the ground up (0 to 1).
- Deep understanding of U.S. solar market dynamics, policy, and distribution channels.
- Strong network in the renewable energy sector, including EPCs, installers, and utility partners.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with a high level of autonomy, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.
- Proficient in CRM tools, data analysis, and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a strong plus.
- Experience working with international solar manufacturers or cross-border teams.
- Knowledge of U.S. federal and state-level solar incentives (e.g., ITC, NEM, IRA-related policies).
