One of our clients in the Government domain is Seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect. This role will lead technology strategy and implementation efforts, shaping the ESS technology landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Advise ESS leadership, Service Owners, and client agencies on technical solutions and approaches.
- Research, evaluate, document, and recommend technical solutions and best practices.
- Provide strategic direction on critical initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation by identifying emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Define current and future technology states and applicable integrations.
- Collaborate with peer architects, Service Owners, vendors, and technical teams for environment setup, management, and development.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges involving multiple technologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide solutions and architectural changes.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and cost savings through technology optimization.
Strategic Planning & Alignment:
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business operations.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and architectural standards.
Architecture Design & Oversight:
- Lead system and architecture design efforts covering:
- Cloud-based SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle OIC)
- Oracle Identity Cloud for securing integration endpoints
- Legacy .NET applications
- Various third-party tools and applications
- Oversee projects to ensure alignment with architectural frameworks and standards.
Solution Delivery & Implementation:
- Support implementation and modernization efforts.
- Ensure technology solutions comply with architectural standards.
- Review technical and architectural documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Assess and communicate implications of technical decisions on business, applications, and project timelines.
- Provide guidance on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impact on business processes.
Business Relationship Management & Collaboration:
- Work closely with ESS leadership, IT teams, state agencies, and stakeholders to align business needs with architectural solutions.
- Challenge the status quo and drive business process and technology innovation.
- Provide thought leadership on technology trends, system integration, and industry advancements.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Maintain relationships with technology vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor emerging technologies, product roadmaps, and industry trends impacting ESS services.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions.
- Escalate and resolve vendor-related issues.
Security & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate technology risks by ensuring compliance with security policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Support IT security audits of systems.
- Define project-specific security processes.
- Provide guidance on integration with the state identity provider.
