One of our clients in the Government domain is Seeking a .NET Web Developer Consultant with expertise in ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and Microsoft .NET technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
.NET Web Developer
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
Interview: In-person
Mandatory required Skills:
- 8 years of .NET web development in stand-alone and N-tier architecture environments.
- 8 years of full-stack development using Microsoft technologies, including C# and Visual Studio.
- 5 years as a Senior .NET Web Developer.
- 3-5 years of experience with ASP.NET Core 6.0 and above.
- 6-8 years in ASP.NET MVC UI design, including Bootstrap.
- 6-8 years of experience with jQuery, Asynchronous JavaScript, and Ajax.
- 8 years of .NET development using C#.
- 6-8 years of SQL Server database design and development, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- 4-6 years of experience developing reports in SSRS/Telerik Reporting within an MVC web application.
- 6-8 years of unit testing, load testing, and performance testing.
- 5 years of experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), including code repository and promotion strategies.
- 5 years of experience working within Agile methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Other Requirements:
- Must be local to Ohio and available to work on-site at AGR main campus.
- Strong understanding of system and user requirements prioritization.
- Fluent in English with clear and effective communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Telerik or other third-party ASP.NET Core/MVC UI controls.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Sync, replication, or distributed systems.
- Experience developing offline/stand-alone web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with pair programming, code reviews, impact analysis, documentation, and TFS dashboard management.
- IT experience within a state agency or government department is a plus.
Note: Extensive client-side JavaScript framework experience is NOT required.
