The Materials Manager is responsible for meeting the needs of the customer while achieving Core Accountables and KPIs that support EBWE's strategic objectives for multiple-shift operations. The Materials Manager is responsible for Customer Service and all replenishment activities. They coordinate with internal and external departments and resources to meet customer demand. They balance inventory, service, and cost objectives, while driving collaborative supply chain improvements .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Leading and developing direct reports while fostering a team environment.Directly supervises Scheduling / Planning, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Shipping / Receiving functions.Meeting or exceeding established goals measured by set key performance indicators.Proactively identifies potential shortage / raw material issues in advance.Works with appropriate internal and external contacts collaboratively to communicate and address potential issues that can impact customer service.Assesses issues, determines and provides recommendations to solve problems.Directs forecasting and supply planning of raw materials.Oversees inventory accuracy, cycle count program and all inventory transactions.Responsible for effective planning and scheduling to meet production and customer demand.Maintains ideal raw material stocking levels.Oversees ordering and importing, as well as complying with customs, Legal, and Industry regulations.Maintain relationships with suppliersWorks collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve industry standards and certifications (IATF 16949).Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or other related disciplineAPICS certification is a plusPreferred familiarity with the automotive industry and standards (ISO, AIAG, & IATF).5 years of leadership in Supply Chain functionsJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
