The Scheduler plays a critical role in scheduling and monitoring materials and production floor operations efficiently, ensuring that EBWE meets customer requirements in a profitable way. The Scheduler is the knowledge center of operations, acting as the primary liaison between suppliers, production, and customers.

- Collaborate directly with customers to meet their requirements.
- Work closely with production leaders to schedule the production floor at EBWE.
- Maintain and review the master production schedule daily, adjusting for changes in customer requirements, delays in raw material deliveries, equipment availability, etc. Notify appropriate parties in production and sales about schedule changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales, manufacturing, and logistics to identify resource constraints and create plans to meet customer needs.
- Enter specific sales orders into the master schedule based on requested customer delivery dates and available resources.
- Review monthly marketing forecasts and adjust the production schedule accordingly.
- Participate in the sales department's monthly forecast meetings.
- Notify the planner when there are changes in customer schedules.
- Work towards continuous improvement in the role of Scheduler.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, and materials control.
- Extensive hands-on experience with computerized production planning systems.
- Professional certification from APICS or ISM is beneficial.
- Strong ability to analyze situations and react in a timely manner.
- Leadership training or experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Ability to think and act innovatively in response to company commitments, demands, and goals.
- Capability to analyze contract requirements and create well-considered, customized plans in response to variations and challenges.
