To be successful in this role, the Material Coordinator must possess proven experience as a construction expeditor or relevant material position requiring an understanding of the materials being procured, experience in a business or supply delivery setting, and project management skills to understand technical specifications of material and equipment used in the Transmission and Substation construction process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, developed negotiation skills, and well-organized with focus on fine details in a multi-tasking environment are essential. Additionally, the candidate should have an associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, construction engineering, logistics, or a related field, accounting and budgeting experience, solid mathematical skills, and basic computer skills. A minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, planning, or material management position is required, and substation and Transmission line experience is preferred.
