We are seeking to hire a Mid-level Java Developer with a DoD Secret Clearance to join our team working on a new multi-year award we have within a Federal Gov't Agency located in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Being a US Cit is REQUIRED and being clearable for a DoD Secret clearance is required. Having a currently active DoD Secret Clearance Is highly preferred.
This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).
An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for design and development of Java code for a large scale Federal IT Program:
- 4 years of hands on Java development experience
- 4 years of experience with J2EE or other Java frameworks (e.g. Spring)
- 3 years of experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
- 3 years of experience with Web development technologies (HTML, JSP, etc.)
- 3 years of experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting (e.g. ksh, bash, csh, etc.)
- Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program
- Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
- Active Secret Level Security Clearance preferred.
