What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleanroom Assembler Specialist I ( 1st or 2nd shift) position at ECA Medical Instruments?
POSITION REPORTS TO: Assembly Supervisor/Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Effectively assemble cleanroom devices per specific work instructions and or all required documentation within work order package. This is a temporary assignment.
PREREQUISITES
· 0-2 yrs Experience doing assembly work in cleanroom environment (medical device preferred but not required)
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Good comprehension of the English language
· Understand current 13485 GMP requirements (preferred)
· Have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with vision corrected to 20/20.
· Able to work with small parts
· Working knowledge of simple arithmetic.
· Fastidious in attention to details.
KEY DUTIES:
- Line clearance training
- Organize materials per lot and required assembly work order
- Assemble medical devices per written instructions
- Able to use assembly fixtures
- Able to use microscope
- Able to use ultrasonic welders for plastic components
- Able to use pouch sealer
- Document lot traceability for all steps of the assembly process
- Clean assembly area
- Clean components
- Clean assemblies
- Package final assemblies into required design per written instructions
