What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing/Proposal Coordinator I position at ECC?
ECC is seeking candidates for a Marketing/Proposal Coordinator I position. This is a hybrid position supporting both the marketing team and the proposal team.
- Coordinate advertising and social media schedules and placement
- Track, collate, and maintain inventory of marketing materials and giveaways
- Create, print, and distribute company business cards
- Maintain and fulfill orders on the ECC Online Store
- Code and ensure payment of invoices
- Coordinate trade show exhibits, promotions, packaging, and shipping
- Travel and participate in trade shows as necessary
- Support coordination and development of marketing materials and proposal documents for construction, environmental, and disaster response-related projects
- Assist in developing pre-qualification packages, proposal sections, presentations, etc.
- Coordinate and track the collection of forms, information, and data required for pursuits, at the direction of the Proposal Manager
- Work with the Proposal Manager to support production and different needs for each proposal
- Support Proposal Manager on various assignments during the proposal process as needed
- Provide administrative support to proposal and marketing teams
- Assist with proposal closeout, including archiving pertinent information (ECCONET project description database, resume channel, and Digital Asset Management items such as graphics and photos)
- Manage multiple assignments concurrently while meeting quality standards and deadlines
- Utilize SharePoint/Teams in conjunction with the Proposal Team or Marketing Team to ensure all files are managed according to file management procedures
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform well under the pressure of deadlines
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills required to ensure timely submittal of projects
- Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
- Organizes own work to perform multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines set by others
- Use existing procedures to solve routine problems; applies limited judgment and discretion
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in related disciplines to a variety of standard activities
- Develop knowledge and competence in related disciplines by performing routine work
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and Adobe products, email systems, and Windows
- Travel: Travel is expected to be limited, if at all
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, Journalism, Engineering, Construction, Environmental Science, or associated Business disciplines. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the Federal government procurement process and types of proposals
- Marketing experience including social
- At least one year of experience working with MS Office products
- Proposal and marketing experience a plus
- Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills a plus
ECC targeted salary range is $46,000 to $54,000 annually. Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
