Job Description

We are seeking a skilled React Native Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on developing high-performance applications for Apple TV, Android TV, and FireOS TV platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering seamless and engaging user experiences that align with our mission to simplify entertainment discovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications for Apple TV, Android TV, and FireOS TV using React Native.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Optimize applications for performance and responsiveness across TV platforms.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance app functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in TV app development.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in React Native development. Experience building applications for TV platforms such as Apple TV, Android TV, or FireOS TV is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript.
• Experience with native build tools, such as Xcode and Android Studio.
• Understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles for large-screen interfaces.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Prior experience in the entertainment or streaming industry.
