Job Description
- Diagnose potential vehicle and equipment malfunctions
- Perform necessary repairs to vehicles and equipment
- Determine needed repairs and/or replacements of vehicles and equipment
- Execute preventative maintenance programs as well as safety inspections for vehicles and equipment
- Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary
- Maintain tools, equipment, and shop area
- Adhere to Ecco Ride standards, policies, and procedures
- Prepare documentation regarding information to comply with regulatory guidelines, vehicle and equipment systems/components repairs, etc.
- Inspect vehicles using standard guidelines and ensure conformance to Louisiana Highway Patrol standards.
- Always a focus on safety
- Perform other responsibilities as requested or required
Minimum Job Qualifications or you can title Educational/Experience Qualifications
- 2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience required
- Appropriate mechanic’s toolset
- ASE Certification preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid Driver’s License; having a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to pass Pre-Job requirements including pre-employment drug screen and background check

- The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
